Before you dive into today’s deals, I wanted to take a moment to mention the awesome opportunity you’ve got when shopping these deals right now. Due to tariffs taking effect today (and more expected over the coming months), many manufacturers have announced price increases to offset the additional costs associated with producing their products.

Many have been transparent about these looming price increases for months, with Keeley Electronics going so far as to use millions of credit card points to pay for potentiometers that they could only source from China, where the current tariff rate sits around 55%.

It’s clear these tariff costs must ultimately be passed on to consumers, especially for pro audio manufacturers already operating on single-digit margins. But what does it mean for the used & open box gear market?

In the short term, not a whole lot in terms of pricing. Used gear values trail the new gear market by several months as supply & demand churn through old inventory and get replaced with new inventory.

But as a percentage of savings off new prices, now is the best time to jump on great gear deals. Price increases on new equipment WILL eventually be met with price increases on used equipment; it’s just the natural progression of things.

Until then, the market’s slow movement is to your benefit.
