WA-8000: Best Mic in my Collection!
I've used a huge variety of vocal mics in my life, big name, vintage stuff, almost anything you can think of, but for anything where clarity and detail are a necessity, this mic absolutely blows the rest out of the water. I don't think I could make the top end sound brittle or abrasive if I tried! just super smooth, shiny, clear top end for days. Highly recommend especially compared to any other mic you can get in this price range, it's my desert island mic these days.
WA-44: Superb Build Quality
I was able to shoot this mic out against an original RCA 44BX. We were supposed to get an AEA in as well, but unfortunately schedules didn't align. Here's the deal: The mic is a beast. The build quality is incredible, especially for the money, which is where most of the money is going, the metal work. The motor construction and transformer choices were extremely well executed.
WA-CX12: Great, Warm Sound
This is a great sounding tube mic! The tube gives you a very thick and rich sound. Great for thickening up a thinner female vocal. Build quality is great, and the components all feel nice and heavy. Comes with an awesome case, external power supply, and multi pin cable for the mic.
